Molding Sawhorses

Here a molding machine produces sawhorses for a major volume contract. The product is assembled, detailed, compliance labeled, retail boxed, and case packaged for shipping right at the molding machine.

Three D has more than 20 operational injection molding machines in a wide range of sizes to fit different products and production volumes.

Distribution Manifold This pneumatic distribution manifold moves plastic pellets from the storage and mixing area throughout the building complex and directly to high production molding machines. This greatly reduces the cost of material handling.

Flash and piping removed from parts is chopped up and recycled back into the molding machines to eliminate waste and reduce the cost of plastic.

Machining Center

Three D Plastics has it's own on-site tool and die shop to assure quality and timeliness of the custom injection molds used to make your plastic parts.

Here is one of several modern numerically controlled machining centers used to create custom molds.

Cuting paths, speeds and feeds, tool changes, and other factors of mold machining are designed on computer screen and fed directly to the machining centers. The tool shop also has modern CAD and 3D modeling systems for computerized mold design to keep the cost of this complex process as low as possible.
